“Ran” – Franz-Josef Schächter used this abbreviation to write countless reports on very different subjects. He has consistently accompanied and classified political events, sometimes a difficult task for journalists. What is happening in his hometown of Hauenstein is not hidden from him. And that doesn’t just include local politics. Whether a new company is being founded, social projects need support, culture or sport is on hold or people have special stories to tell: Franz-Josef Schächter puts developments and events into words. And in style. What and how he writes, the retired rector of the Lviv school weighs carefully and carefully.
More time for family
The fact that he is close to the action also has to do with the fact that he himself has been and is socially engaged. Be it as an enthusiastic football player in the district teachers’ team, in the parish council, in Africa Aid and other social projects. By the way, Franz-Josef Schächter never asked for the stage.
He said goodbye to the stressful business of the future for the newspaper this year, but luckily he didn’t put down his pen completely. But the family now has to have more of him: his wife, with whom he likes to go for walks, the three grandchildren, for whom he – a very passionate grandfather – likes to take care. The rest of the family should also wish you on your milestone birthday. And he’s not exactly small, as the birthday boy is the youngest of six siblings. We are happy to join. With this in mind: Congratulations on the “run”!
