Milan Fashion Week 2022: the 3 most important trends at Fendi for next summer

On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, the House of Fendi presented its new collection Spring/Summer 2023. A summer wardrobe composed as a “ticket around the world to destinations near and far”, explained Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director Italian brand. To bring the updated take on this perfect bohemian outfit to life, the designer drew on three key themes that will define next summer’s fashion trend.

Fringe is everywhere

From short to long, fringes are definitely the big trend of this new Fendi collection. In denim or colorful, in oversized jackets or in accessories such as bags or shoes, fringes are the leitmotif of this sunny and fluid wardrobe from the Italian fashion house.

The tie-dye print is back

If there’s one pressure to remember about Fendi, it’s this one. It’s featured on blouses and satin shirts, as well as accessories like a hat and a bag, ideal for a day at the beach. Some pieces, including a coat, even combine multiple patterns, with Fendi’s double F crossed with a cowhide print.

Denim in all variations

Denim is the star of this show. Silvia Venturini Fendi has diverse denim both in the total look and in some scattered parts of her collection. Here are fringed shorts (they’re everywhere) worn short – or even very short – under a big top. Here’s a full body silhouette with baggy pants, a bob and even sneakers that have a denim upper.
