Leni Klum spoke to People magazine about her mother’s help in starting her career – and how different their styles are.

Leni Klum (18) has shown in an interview for the American magazine “People” that she knows very well that her career has been pushed by her famous mother Heidi Klum (49). “It’s just a fact: my parents are famous,” says Leni. “I have a fast start and I know a lot of people dream of starting like that.”

Leni Klum’s first modeling job was actually for the cover of Vogue with her mother. Her career continued at that level: runway work for Dolce & Gabbana, cover photos from “Harper’s Bazaar” to “Glamour”, brand ambassador for Dior…

While she’s grateful for her mother’s support, Klum makes it clear that she’s also making an effort with her career: “I do the work and I put in the time. Now I work alone, I travel alone, I go to school. My mom and I just have the same love for the same thing.”

“Your closet is wild”

Apparently, mother and daughter are not so similar in every aspect. When it comes to furnishing, the tastes of the two differ greatly. “I’m more of a minimalist—a few pieces here and there that stand out—but we have completely different tastes. She’s a maximalist, even with fashion.”

This change can also be seen in the wardrobe, as Leni goes on to say: “Your closet is wild. It’s big. It’s full. You can’t move in it. There’s too much stuff. My closet is almost empty. It has to be It has to be have an inch of space on each hanger so I can see all my parts.”

Leni Klum recently left home to study interior design – in New York City. On Instagram and in interviews, Mama Klum has already admitted how difficult it is for her daughter to leave. Leni Klum was not even aware of this, as she claims for “People”: “After I saw her in the interview where she explains that she has gone crazy since I haven’t left, I contacted her more often. I didn’t think she cared, after all, she has three other kids to look after.”
