The Baglioni Hotels & Resorts hotel group is growing | tidings

All good things come from three – at least for now. Baglioni Resort Sardinia opened in June 2021. This was followed in May 2022 by Baglioni Masseria Muzza in Puglia. And soon a new townhouse will be added to the collection.

The new hotel is located in the heart of Milan’s Brera design district. It includes 30 suites and rooms, a lounge area, a wine cellar and a restaurant.

Master chef of Milan

The hotel group has hired Claudio Sadler to be responsible for the entire culinary area. The Milanese chef is closing his Via Ascanio Sforza bar and moving his Michelin-starred restaurant to Casa Baglioni. The restaurant will have a separate entrance. In this way, the chef can host guests other than hotel guests.

1960s design

The hotel in the middle of the fashionable metropolis of Milan is elegantly presented in the style of a past century. Italian architects Spagnulo & Partners are responsible for the design of the rooms. To recreate the design as authentically as possible, the architects were inspired by the art and design of Milan in the 1960s. Color and lighting are harmoniously coordinated. Herringbone wood floors, matte walnut paneling and brass detailing complete the look of the home in combination with matching fabrics and rugs. The design focused on linear forms.

Italian hospitality

As the name suggests, the new property – a new member of the prestigious network of partners The Leading Hotels of the World – is positioned as a symbol of Italian hospitality.

“I am happy and proud to return to Milan with our homes; a key destination for our collection and I am confident that it will please all travelers who love Italian style,” comments Guido Polito, CEO of the Group, about the upcoming reopening.
