Yotam Ottolenghi has written a new cookbook together with a collaborator. Here the two talk outside the box about how they did it.
Yotam Ottolenghi, 53, an Israeli with German and Italian grandmothers, has published seven best-selling cookbooks. In London he runs five delis and two restaurants that have achieved cult status. He also writes columns for The Guardian and The New York Times. He lives in London with his partner and two sons born by a surrogate mother.
Noor Murad 33, hails from Bahrain and co-authored the cookbooks Shelf-Love and Extra Good Things. She runs the Ottolenghi test kitchen and also lives in London.
Mrs. Murad, Mr. Ottolenghi, how do you like classic German food – schnitzel, sauerkraut or Maultaschen?
